Acrylic Aquarium scratch repair?

I have a really nice Acrylic aquarium that im planning on setting up again but it has a scratch across the inside right in the middle and it drives me crazy. Its not super deep but with two sets of lights on it lights it up and its distracting. Anybody know how to repair the scratch?

you have to sand it out. use a really fine sand paper like 1000 grit, then go to 2000 then 4000 then use steel wool 00 then 000 , 0000. that ought to do it.

As above but then move onto car polish for the really fine finish. If you have a buffing wheel that can also finish the polishing.

should be able to get it looking like new !
