  1. I can't see why not

  2. I HAD ACRYLICS ON DURING MY C-SECTION..

  3. Yes and No.  You don't need your nails during the c-section, but you do have to hold your baby and feed him/her afterwards, and the nails may scratch the baby.  I remember seeing a nurse ask a soon to be delivering mom to clean off her nail polish before she goes into labor.  I guess this is because there is this chance where you will have to finger feed the baby in case the baby wouldn't latch on, or that you need to give the baby some milk before your milk officially comes in.

I'm planning on cutting my nails short before my baby's arrival.

  4. Yes.  You can use them to help the doc make the incision.

  5. no your nails dont haver anything to do with a c section however they ask that all jewelerry and everything as such be taken off yes including acrylic nails because of the glue its just all to be 100% safe and natural is what you want to be when having a c section

  6. Ask your doctor.  They made me take mine off for a natural birth in case they had to do a c-section.  I don't know if it's standard to make women take them off, or if is a doctor by doctor thing.

    Good luck!

  7. yeah why wouldn't you?

  8. I don't see why not. The only thing they told me was no jewelry and no contact lenses.
