  1. Continue taking classes and auditioning.

You've got plenty of life ahead of you you don't HAVE to make it to LA before you're 17. Try to get an agent too.

  2. Sorry, i don't live near you but i can help.

Your starting your acting career very well so far because your starting at a good age.

I suggest you start with your confidence by speaking in front of people. Try talking in front of family members and then move on to friends. If your nervous about those, then try in front of the mirror.

Once you've nailed your confidence, you need to work on actually acting. Maybe try writing a small play with a lot of emotions, and act it out.

I don't know if you could go to LA at age 17 because acting is  really tough. My best friend does it and she said it's the hardest thing ever. Just good luck, and try your best.

  3. First you really need to calm down, acting isn't that hard you just have to relax and let yourself become someone else. it's good to take classes because they will help alot but if you audition but don't make in to a play don't be upset, you will have many chances to get leading or supporting rolls. Also many types of acting involve singing so get used to your voice and know your limits, even singing in the shower can get you more comfortable. Being on the stage is really frightening for some people so if you in a group of friends or even strangers make sure you get into the conversation to help you be more confident with yourself if you arent already. Just keep it in your mind that you won't get into everything but you still need to audition and I promise that you will mess up and embarras yourself at least once but you CAN get over it.

I wish you the best of luck and you can email me if you have any other questions because I would love to help.

  4. I don't live in Omaha but i think you're doing the right thing... take classes where you can, audition for what you can- basically just learn as much, practice as much and meet as many people as you possibly can.

In terms of making it to L.A. before you're 17, that's going to depend a lot on your parents. They're the ones who will have to get you an agent and transport you to the westcoast for auditions and what not.

    Best of luck to you!

  5. i live here too! um yea take voice lessons and acting classes and get in all the plays you can research to see if there is any extra parts that you can do to build up you experience in related feilds! Good luck, or should i say break a leg?

  6. Hello. What else should you do? Well you had better convince your parents that you should be an actor, because they will have to sign for everything you do professionally until you are 18.  The leap from Omaha to LA is a big one.  It takes years of experience and training and a lot of luck to do that.  Best wishes, Doc

  7. Sorry, I don't live in Omaha! But it sounds like you're taking good problem solving steps to reach your dream! Keep auditioning for plays at your local theatre, take classes (acting classes, dance classes hip hop tap ballet jazz, join a choir, take voice lessons! ) Those are just some suggestions!

Best of luck to you in your acting career! =]

  8. Keep training and learn as much about the industry as you can. Learn how you have to move to make things happen in LA for yourself. Learn how to network and to market yourself. You'll need all those things as well as a strong mental attitude, a lot of determination and perseverance. In addition, make sure you surround yourself with positive people who are already doing what you would like to do, so that you can learn from them!

    Good luck!

    Tony
