Acting Agent????????

i would like to get an acting agent but i dont know how and im only 12. I live in OC so nothing far away from here. How do i get 1

go on the internet, type in "Orange County acting agencies", go thru the list and pick out all of the ones that seem ligit, send submissions to the adresses on their sites (unless it says not to): a submission is 2 headshots, 1 full body shot, a resume, and a short but sweet cover letter, and a small big yellow envolope all inside a big big yellow envelope (the inside one is self adressed to you)

then you hope for the best

(i sent out to about 8 or 9 including modeling ones because if you get in and tell them ur into acting they actually will find more acting auditions for you or at least thats how it turned out for me, but out of those 9 i only got 1 thumbs up back so just dont give up)...and i'm only a year older than you

well what my cuz does is he has a website with his profile on it an you can pay the site to be on it and you have people calling all the time telling you about casting calls and stuff.

Future reference stuff: It's a TALENT agent and since you're 12 your parents will need to sign everything, so make sure they are on board.

Also, if an agent ever asks for money up front, it's a scam. Agents work off what you earn (i.e they get a certain percent of your earnings) and DON'T take, say, $600 for start-up fees, yadda yadda.
