  1. I don't understand- Objections... like... something you oppose?

On my theater resume I have my phone # and e-mail.

No one needs to know where you live.  :)

you can only get more experience by going to more auditions and getting more jobs.

  2. Well first off you don't put your address. I have my agents address and phone number and stuff. But if you don't have an agent then just e-mail and phone number. Next you do things like eyes, hair color,Ht, and Wt. Then you should put your education. (where you currently go to school.)  Unless your home schooled. which agents consider a good thing.  Next include ALL of your training. That takes up the most space on my resume. Then you include TV and theater that you have done. Next is print. Last but not least is your special talents. Put everything you can do. Mine include guitar, football, and Track.

  3. Jamazter has it down pretty well... If by objections you mean things you oppose... I've never heard of that put on a Resume...? Keep in mind that a Resume is there to market you...you are selling yourself as a "product", so create something marketable that they would want to hire... The resume is the first & possibly only chance the director has to see you... always put your best foot forward...otherwise he/she may look & say "wow this person has lots of reasons we don't want them...so why ahould we even consider hiring them... & it's tossed in the garbage...

As for the experience: The best thing you can do is GET experience under you belt to "pad your resume" with... do volunteer work, do community theatre., take classes( very important!!!).. anything you can do will help.... but remember, never ever lie on your resume...because it WILL come back to bite you in the butt & you may lose an important job...

Once you have the experience, then it's worth getting an agent...

My Resume is as follows & this is pretty standard, but you can always see examples on-line (google "acting resumes")

In addition be certain to get a quality headshot done to fasten to the back ( black & white photo, bust and up 81/2 x 11-big as resume)
