is there a website that agents look on for people to be in movie, one that is free, i no that i didn't word that well but you get my drift

  1. no, agents dont really look on websites.  you have to have experience, and send you resume/headshot/cover letter to the agents office for them to even consider working with you.  then they interview you.  then they decide if they want to work with you.  then they start sending you out on auditions.  then if you're lucky you start to book some things.  its a gradual and trying process.  you have to start small.  if you dont have any experience you need to start doing background work, independent films, student films, and take some acting classes.  craigslist posts some things like this.  also your local paper might.  depending on where you live, nycastings, backstage, and actorsaccess charge small subscription fees and give you access to postings of open auditions.  "open" auditions means anyone can go, including those without representation (agents).
