  1. Scenes for Young Actors is a great book full of acting scenes for teens and younger performers. Read loads of plays and books, not just books for teens - that's what all the best actors do. Practice monologues in the mirror, see if there's a community theater group in your area.

    Have fun!

  2. Browse the acting books and read any that interest you, they won't do you much harm. Avoid those that look like they are difficult to read or too long. Read every play you can get your hands on. Forget websites, they will get you into trouble.  Too many scams. Have any questions about your reading, post them here. Acting in front of a mirror is stupid, you cannot act and be the audience at the same time.
