  1. completely normal. use this experience to add to 'your craft'...method acting.

  2. Sure, it is always frightening when you are in a new surrounding. Give it some time and I'm sure you will meet new people and get along great. Just try to be social to the other people in acting camp. Things should turn out great!

  3. As stated, it is not abnormal to feel as you do. The GOOD news is you aren't alone in that feeling, and the social interactions will help all of you relax.

Beyond that, it is Camp, not a major audition for a Broadway Play.

Those who RUN acting camps GET IT, and would rarely be so tough on anyone that they'd cause a nervous meltdown. It's "CAMP" and supposed to be enjoyable. It may also afford everyone the experience of knowing what modest competition is like.

You'll be fine, and by the end of the first day, or perhaps even by the end of any orientation, you'll begin to feel like you're fitting in.

  4. once people at the camp realize how talented you are, instant popularity can come. just be charming and fun!!!!
