  1. I agree with kiwee that you need to train in multiple skills--acting, singing, dancing.  It just makes you more bookable as an actor.

You should connect with your local theaters; audition, volunteer, get involved.

Here's the link to your local community theater:

Plus a mess of smaller theaters:

  2. Join your local theater group - if there is one. Do anything which shows you have the skill and desire to act. You may also have to contend with speech and elocution lessons if that's all that's available to you. Also, consider musicals, singing lessons, dance, etc They are all part of an actor's repertoire.

  3. you should look online and see if there are any classes and training you can take....from there you can just grow like taking dance and singing....it takes time but if you work hard it will pay off...you only get out of something what you put in...good luck

  4. try doing plays in your school.

when you go to high school take drama.

(they should have a drama class or a theatre club)

  5. Albuquerque has some theater groups. Search for the theaters call them and ask about acting classes. They will also be able to give you info on some auditions. If you are dissatisfied with what you find around you, create it in your own design. If there is no role for you, try playwriting or directing, there are multiple ways into the theater arts and there is no "one way" to be successful. I can imagine you making two minute scripts and posting them on you tube etc. You seem to be pretty smart for you age. Go for it!
