Acting in arizona?

Question

I used to live in Arizona and have always wanted to return there someday. Now that I'm almost done with college, I'm really considering it. But I'm earning a degree in theatre, and plan to act in film/television. How necessary is it to live by NYC/LA to establish yourself in film? I know that a lot of films were shot in AZ so if I did decide to move there would it be ok for my career or would it be more beneficial to move to NYC or LA?
