Acting is hard?

I've tried everything I was told to try to find auditions. Is there anything easier. It's my dream. I can't find anything.?

The person who said you need an agent has a good point. An agent can hook you up with auditions that aren't open to the public, which is always good. However, if you can't afford and agent or aren't looking for that kind of commitment yet, theres multiple other ways to find auditions.

Scour your local paper, especially in the local events section (or something of the like). Most theatres try and advertise their auditions. Or look for a community theatre near to you and stop by.

If youre going for the film/tv route, well, that's harder. If there's a local film/arts school in your area, students sometimes need actors and will have audition calls. Other than that, I have no idea.

you shoudl do some classes!participate in plays! build up your resume! get an agent! do auditions! get headshots!

read everythign you see! and click on words in blue but not double udnerlined ones and i suggest that you sign up with alan baltes go to first site and look at right column it explains everything! he wont be an agent just help you out and its a one time fee of 30 dollars and totally worth it!please do not report mee ok i am not doing anything bad and this isnt spam or solicitation its not my site!i just copy and paste my answer cause its teh same for every question and sometimes i alter it! whats wrong with that?

Its never gonna be easy! Acting  is a hard thing to do if it was easy you would see more actors out there than there is! Get an agent and head shots with your acting resume send them out to the agents and find work and try by being in community plays!

Actually there are a ton of actors and you only see the ones in the big movies that are produced by these billion dollar companies.  What you dont see are tons and tons of independent films that dont have much of a budget at all and the actors are barely making anything.  There is only a limited number of companies that have the money to distribute their films to theaters.  Time Warner owns Warner Bros. which produced The Dark Knight and it cost 185 million to make.  Yeah, acting is hard because you are competing against the world for a spot where about 10 companies have the funds to air in theaters.
