  1. I have long deleted all of my acting resumé stuff, but I'll try to answer your questions from memory.

If you're under the age of 18, you should definitely put your age, because that will affect your employer's decision. Child labor laws apply to actors, too, so it's only fair that a casting director should be able to take that into account.

If you're over 18, I think it's a bit more flexible. You only send your resumé when you meet the physical criteria anyways. They often ask for people who look "around 20" and if you're 30 and you look 20, then you can send your resumé. You need to send a headshot anyways, so whether you give your age or not, is probably irrelevant.

As for contact information, definitely your e-mail address and cell phone number, maybe your home phone number, too. Your home address is also pretty irrelevant, because they won't be sending anything there anyways. Your city and state could theoretically be important, depending on where you're sending your resumé. If you live in NY and you're sending the stuff to LA, then they might want to know that. They might even have people already in NY so you wouldn't have to fly to LA for an audition if you were offered one.

I, personally, would print on white paper. It's professional, that way. However, I've caught wind of a new fad in other occupations where people have started dressing things up to get noticed. Also not a bad thing. Whatever you do, make sure your resumé is easy to read. Hot pink paper with black writing could be strenuous to read and just be thrown aside.

Lastly, try and get yourself an agent. An Agent will help you a lot, and some of the best parts are sent first to agents, and unrepresented actors rarely get a chance. Look in your local yellow pages for agencies. If you get a chance to have an interview, and the agent asks for a payment from you, get up and walk out. That's not a real agency. A real agent only takes a percentage of your earnings in acting, and has no other fees. Your success is his/her success.

    Good luck!!

  2. i reallly dont know but it seems that if you shouldnt do your home address then probly not your age either look at the sample ones and if they dont have an age then dont put one

i think you will stand out if you use fanncy  paper

  3. No you do not put your age. Your headshot should look like you and you may actually be 15 or whatever but read younger or older. Let the people you submit to make the decision on whether you are the look/age they need or not.

Never put your home address. An email address and phone number is all you need.

Look for resume paper. It is usually a slightly higher quality then plain white paper. You can find it at any print shop or drug store. It usually comes in a box and is off white.

  4. Put your age.

If you are going to see an agent then you dont need to put any contact info cause they will already have it.

If you are sending it tp agencys then you should put your house phone and or your email address.
