  1. Be in plays even if you have to start out as a small part and build up a resume

  2. Oh, come on, there have to places to study acting besides the major scams. And if your mom is so enthusiastic about your acting, she should be helping alot. Find a youth theatre to join, they will have classes and productions for you to be in. why do you like kids!management so much if you need more help????? Ever think they may be a scam, too???

  3. Build up your resume with school and community theatre, check backstage.com for castings for student and independent short films. Once you have significant experience and training, have headshots taken. As you are only 12, you may not want to have these done professionally quite yet, as they are expensive. Get someone with a good eye, a steady hand, and a high-quality camera to take basic pictures that just show who you are. Then, send out your headshot and resume plus a cover letter to various agencies. You can get lists of legitimate agencies from various places such as the hollywood reporter. Keep on submitting to agencies until you get a response. This is harder than it sounds, but never give up!
