  1. Have around four monologues prepared. Two classical and two contemporary. Make sure the monologues are contrasting. Be prepared for cold readings. Also improvising may be another task you may encounter. Have an acting resume prepared as well as a good professional photo shot of yourself. Remain respectful to everyone and do not try to hold a conversation with the director after your audition. Once your finished auditioning tell person "thank you for your time" and leave. Let the contact you, do not contact them about your status. Last remain relaxed and arrive at least 15 minutes early just in case you do have to do cold readings you will have time to look them over. Also when doing a cold reading do not hold the script in your face while acting or listening.

Break a leg! & God bless

  2. Usually if its a commercial one person is present.  Movies one person is present.  T.V. more than one.  Plays more than one.

Expect to be nervous but use your nerves to your advantage.  Don't let your nerves mask your charisma.  The way you act in front of your usual audience (parents, friends, ect.) is the way you should act in front of the director.  make eye contact, speak clearly (with charisma), and when doing the monologue or script act how you would in the given situation.  Don't be overly dramatic, it will show your inexperience.  Also after the audition get into the habit of believing you got the part.  People will put there confidence in you if you have confidence in your self. Thanks and good luck :)

  3. i don't know what you mean.
