Action Replay Question (read details) please help me?

Question

I'm watching this video on youtube to see how to get the codes from my computer to my DS.

And I have some questions

1.In time 18 where you put a Address do you have to put one or what can the address be?

2.My screen only shows "waiting for DS" with those 4 colors going around it.How can I go pass that?

3.I may have more question's so if you code help me more after I get pass this thing.I will add additional details if I have another question so if you could re-visit this ? incase I put another question

If you can give me a step by step on how to do it that will really help me.

Note:I am where the page says "Waiting for DS" as I said before

1. Put your action replay in your ds

2.Plug your action replay into your computer

3.Turn your ds on

Thats all you have to do.
