Action and helping verbs

Could someone give me an example of a sentence with an action verb and a helping verb, please? Thank youuu =)

  3. Like the sentence, She can run for a mile. "can" is the helping verb and "run" is the action verb. Action verb is what u CAN do or "act" like dance, walk, run, smile, etc. That's why they are called "action" verbs. Helping verbs are verbs like is, have, are, etc. They're like linking verbs.

    However linking verbs are different from helping verbs. Linking verbs are verbs that links one noun to another. Like, The girl is Sarah. the word, "is" in here is used as a linking verb because it links the girl to Sarah. Hope that helps.
