Action replay with nintendo dogs!!!???

ok....i have an action replay for my nintendo dog game, there is this cheat that can get Infinite cash, but when i set it on, it would say " Save data is corrupted and must be deleted." what does that mean, what can i do to get rid of it???? thank you!
