Question:

Active ankle T2 or T1?

this kind of pertains to my previous question about buying the best ankle brace.

my shoe size is a 6, which means when buying the active ankle it says to get an XS. however the T2 does not come in a XS.

i was wondering if i should just get the T2 in a S size. is there a big difference between the T1 and T2 types? or should i just go ahead and get the T2 in a S size? (the S size is for about 6.5 to 7 shoe sizes) would getting the S affect my playing in any way since i'm not a 6.5?

  1. did not see previous question ... sorry.  I presently own T1, purchasing T2.  The primary difference (from reading the manf site) is the foam used in the cushioning and the straps (T1 has 2 straps, T2 has one).

Problem I can see with getting the wrong size is the shape/size of the footbed (plastic triangle that forms the 'bottom' of the 'U').  If it is going to be too big, it may not fit your shoe or (worse yet) may pinch your skin and be very uncomfortable.
