Activex down load, ?

While trying to down load Java, i get a yellow banner above and says I Have to down load Activex , when I start to down load Activex it closes down the window and will not down load, can not just down load java, any advise how to do all this?

ActiveX and Java are both notorious for viruses. If the ActiveX is not signed by Microsoft (your browser checks before downloading) then your browser settings or personal firewall settings may be blocking it.

Make sure you are downloading Java from the official website to avoid malware and viruses.

The online installation seems not to have gone as planned in your case.  During the installation, all open windows must be closed at some point for the java software to be added. If that fails to occur the installation won't complete. The good news is that there's also an offline installation file that can be downloaded and run with the browser closed. Here's the link.

Click on the second windows install link- the one with the word Offline at the end of it. That will let you download the installation file to your desktop. You then close the browser and double-click the file to install Java. When it's done, open the browser and go to this page -

download another type of internet page like Mozilla Firefox it will download almost evrything
