  1. The site below has different kind of indoor and outdoor activities such as: coloring pages, arts and crafts activities, sports activities and much more. I hope you will find there something suitable.

  2. Since fall is approaching, how about collecting differen leaves, learning about them, coloring them (lay a piece of paper over them and color over with a crayon to get the outline of the leaves on the paper), presenting to the rest of the class about them - learn about how trees "go to sleep" for the winter.

This can be indoors and outdoors (good and bad weather) and could take a few days. A nice lesson, and they get to walk around the woods/yard.

  3. Ice cube transferring-simple good for science and math. Have children transfer ice cubes from one bowl into another bowl using a spoon are their hands.  The can feel the cold and count the cubes as they transfer them into bowls. You can decide on how many cubes.  Ask questions "What's happening to ice?" It's melting.  How many cubes do you have?  Is the ice hot or cold? etc...  You can also color the water for colored ice cubes (plan ahead) maybe the child can help.  What color are the ice cubes? I hope this helps

  4. finger painting

  5. u can teach shlok(prayers) and show different things and  pictures for better vocabulary. good books u can use, educational toys.

  6. you can do a puppet show for indoors. you can do a scavenger hunt with the items you are working with or pictures. the thing i would do is to play with beanie bags than take the class outside and play with balls.

  8. Rather than type and type and type here, I would like to suggest some websites for you.  http://www.preschooleducation.com has ideas cross-referenced by topic, theme, and type of activity.  http://www.atozteacherstuff.com has a great discussion forum as well as searchable archives.  http://www.preschoolrainbow.org has some good stuff too.  I'm a preschool teacher and these are my favorite websites.
