  1. I would make up little songs to go with the washing, so it seems more fun. (obviously this wouldn't work so well with teeth brushing, lol) but if they can sing while washing fruit and veg, or their hands, its not so much of a chore then.

  2. When I was teaching preschool, I would have like Monday be wear Red, and then that day we talked about fruits and veggies that were red-tomatoes, strawberries, apples etc. I also had flash cards so I would hold them up, have the kids say what it is, and so I'd hold up a banana, and I'd ask them is this red? the kids will say no, and so we'd go until we found all the red fruits and veggies.

For art, we'd cut out fruits from old magazines and glue it onto another piece of paper.

    A few examples there.

Now on the day school I worked at, some of the kids did bring in their toothbrushes and would brush their teeth after lunch, so we'd make it into a game. All kids love washing their hands it seemed. Or at least my class did, so we would sing a silly song when we'd wash our hands. It actually had nothing to do with washing, but it was a silly song. It is said everyone should wash their hands for about 30 sec. So if you sing ABC's that is the length you should wash your hands to. Or Happy Birthday.

  3. Well I with a 2 and a 4 year old and their parents always take them on picnics including the healthy foods. Also take them to your local produce department and pick out new fruits to try you could add food to your favorite games have a game night mix food that is easy for them to help you make I know these kids LOVE to cook then have them help clean up when your done!
