My son is turning 8 this weekend and he is having 10 boys sleep over on friday night. What would be some fun activities to do at home with these kids?

Saturday, the bounce house arrives so I want to make it a fun mellow night.

Suggestions?!?!?

  1. outside games, like tag, hide and go seek, then later... video games, movies and pizza! Don't forget lots of snacks!!!!

    Good Luck!

  2. video games..

    board games... =)

    mafia is fun..

  3. Do a themed night.  I did a Dr Who theme for my son's sleep over.  So pass the parcel became pass the adipose, blind mans bluff became blind dalek chase and of course we all watched an episode with Dr. Who themed food.  The secret is to run it with military precision with games and free time slotted in, so you can say after this game boys you can have free time for 30 mins then we do ...  this way they feel that there is a structure and if they don't like the games they know that they will be over and something else.

If you have a large enough indoors how about an indoor camp out?  I put two tents up and the boys were told to bring a sleeping bag.  This way I could keep an eye on them and they all thought it was great fun.

I had special chocolate fondue with strawberries for the tent part (instead of a camp fire) and the boys loved it.
