  1. I made a gross motor game out of two laminated poster boards. I used tape to split it into 12 equal sized squares. I wrote in 123456789#0*

Have them jump from number to number. Anything that they use more than one sense to do, will help them remember better.

  2. Check this out for phone numbers:

  3. make it fun

if they like aniamals get them to tell mr girrafe thier phone number

    make it a riddle

    make it a game

do up big cards with the number address and other words and prises for right answers*(hugs from mum)

  4. Give the kid a cookie or something on a day to day basis, but when it comes time for that cookie (lol) make sure that they can tell you the whole phone number/ addres, without cheating.

  5. The most common way is to of course, make it into a song or poem. Try to fit words which would rhyme.

  6. try www.enchantedlearning.com

  7. Make it a "password" to go to lunch or recess for a week.  First, create it on a large slit of paper with their names on it. (i.e., "Hannah 234-1234") Then have them say it as if it is a password to go to lunch or recess. For example, for this week the first three numbers of their phone numbers have to be repeated by each child before going outside to play. (So Hannah ould have to say "234" before going to recess.)  Do that all day long as often as possible.  You can even do that with their address or sight words that they need to learn.

    Hope this helps.
