Activities..?

I am doing a teaching tonite to a group of 6-9 yr olds about how God looks at the heart and not the outward appearance. I need some ideas for some games or crafts. I'm trying to find some ideas on other websites but they are for older children.

well make a person that is ugly and mke a pretty heart with glittr and stuff and then make a pretty person with spider webs and stuff in it. that should get the point across that someones heart is diffrent then the outside.

similar to the previous idea...wrap up two boxes...make one beautiful and the other plain and ugly. In the plain box put in a really nice gift and put something undesirable in the beautiful package. Explain the lesson as the kids are opening the packages.
