Activity dates?

Question

Is it possible for someone to be on yahoo mail with the same sign on and password as yahoo personals and show active on yahoo personals if they were only in their yahoo email?

Also...........

They have asked me to be exclusive and have said they are no longer talking on yahoo personals. But, when I look them up through my mailbox messages I see various times it shows he was active. Would he show as active if he just looked at profiles or does one have to correspond to get the activity status to change?
