Actor who Jerry Seinfeld's dad?

I was watching an early episode of Seinfeld and a different man played the role of Jerry's dad. Does anyone know they changed actors?

Barney Martin play Morty for most of the series, in the first season someone else played Morty but I cannot find out who.

i do know who your talking about though

there were only 2 dads

1 was in 1 episode only in season 1

and the rest were the same "No 1 DAD" lolol

um george also had  a different dad in one episode

its because that actor played georges dad on another episode and they teamed em up again for seinfeld. the guy died and out of respect and honour george asked them to air that show

so in one episode george has a diff father

His name was Phil Burns.  He was replaced because Larry David didn't think he was "crotchety" enough.
