  1. i threw my gum in the garbage rather than ground..

  2. i helped my sister write her essay , convinced a friend not to drop a class , said thank you to whoever opened the door for me

  3. I have been friendly to everyone I have come across today...that is about it so far...lol...I do recycle and washed out a few cans and put them in my bin...

  4. I like to pay for the people behind me at a drive through window.  Nobody ever expects it and it hardly ever costs more than 10 bucks.  Which is nothing compared to the satisfaction of watching them in my rear-view mirror as they pull up and are confused when the cashier tells them their meal is paid for :)

  5. Im not feeling particularly friendly today but yesterday i cooked dinner for my family, spent the evening cheering up my friend because she broke up with her boyfriend and helped my brother with his homework. I was feeling very nice yesterday :)

    xxxxxxx

  6. Let's see, today I helped a homeless single mom and her 4 kids (all under the age or 5) find affordable housing,  I helped a homeless man get a pro bono lawyer for an unfair and unlawful housing denial, I helped another homeless person find a job, I helped a homeless couple get counseling for the marital issues and stress they are currently dealing with, I helped a young homeless mother about to lose custody of her kids by taking her to a lawyer who specializes in custody battles...the list goes on and on, and by homeless, I mean they are currently living in a homeless shelter for families, and women...I guess the catch in the whole deal is that I'm their case manager at the shelter.  It is my job to help them find housing, jobs, government assistance, clothing, financial assistance, couseling etc. and I do these acts everyday......not sure if it counts since its what I do for a living.

  7. Today, I helped out my mom by helping her with the laundry. I don't leave at home and when I usually visit I hardly help with anything. Just felt compelled  to help my mom this time before I left to go home. Plus I thought she'd wanna see her grand-daughter today.

I called a couple of my friends just because.

I even helped my neighbor tend to her garden. She's elderly and doesn't get a lot of help from her grandchildren.

    That's about it....

  8. I dont have acts of random kindness, i show kindness 24/7 thats why i sleep so good at night.

  9. I haven't left the house yet today, so none so far. But a few days ago I helped a woman get a bag of chips from the top shelf in the grocery store.

I love random acts of kindness.

  10. it wasn't really for the environment, or somebody else, but i rescued a little moth from a puddle today :). it probably thought i was kind ^-^

  11. Tip the lady at the drive through window

I have also paid for the order BEHIND me at the drive through (even though I didn't have a CLUE as to who it was!)

I have paid for an older couple's dinner at Bob Evan's as I left and they were still waiting on their check

I bought 6 bookbags and stuffed them full of school supplies (pencils, folders, spirals, pens, colored pencils, calculators, notebook paper, etc.) and had the school counselor give them to students who couldn't afford to buy school supplies

I helped start a place at our junior high school where students who couldn't afford clothes, shoes, coats, or toiletries could come in and get them for free (and if they needed something we didn't have, they just had to ask the counselor and the child was taken to Wal-Mart for shoes, coats, etc.)

I picked up a squashed styrofoam cup in the parking lot today and threw it away

  12. i havent been out today but i should put this on my daily agenda

  13. Allowed a waiting car to get into line ahead of me at an intersection.

    recycling isn't really an RAK..

  14. I don't think that "random kindess" is a good  idea, it gives encouragement to psychopaths. Think about it, in THEIR mind, which doesn't work like ours, they view "acts of random kindness" in a very different way from us. That popular bumper sticker goes on to say, "...and commit acts of SENSELESS beauty" Well, thats exactly what serial killers, and sociopaths do, in their twisted way of thinking. As an example, Because of overpopulation, the war in Iraq has been very good, in a sick way of thinking. It has lessened humanity's weight on the world ( random kindness) and it has devastated the environment (senseless beauty). Don't mean to be so pessimistic, just my two cents.

  15. i recycled
