I think you should consult both. Doesn't matter how deeply you are in love, you need to be reasonable about it. Just my opinion... :)

I choose my feelings over the reasons why I'm with someone. If I don't 'feel' some kind of connection, then whatever reasons we are together are just that. Why be with someone for what they can bring to the table....makes no sense. I am with him for how I 'feel' when I'm with him.
