  1. You may be having a virus or spyware installed on your PC. Norton, AVG , Avast are free antivirus software. Ad-aware, Ewido are free spyware removers.

You can download free softwares at http://fixit.in/antivirus.html and http://fixit.in/spywareremover.html . You can also run a free registry scan using utilities from http://re7.info

  2. Are you using the free version? If so then some components of Ad-Aware is not available for free users such as the Ad-Watch feature and the Scheduler. Clicking on them may cause errors

  3. Well, you have to pay for the full version of Ad-Aware. I recommend downloading Spyware Terminator. It has antivirus integraded into it with on-demand scan and real-time protection, automatic updates, and it's free. I've tested a lot of antispyware programs and there is no better than this. Spybot - S&D gave me false positives saying it removed spyware but I ran a second scan and spyware was STILL there. Ad-Aware, Malwarebytes, SUPERAntiSpyware are all very limited free editions and you have to pay money to get the real thing. None of the other spyware removers offer the same thing as Spyware Terminator.
