Stay away from "surf" and "HYIP" programs.  All of the money you invest will disappear.  These programs are generally run from third world countries overseas.  Internet marketing is the most rewarding thing you can do online.  You need a website, you need to sign up for some affiliate programs, place those links on your website (pick one specific area, don't put tons of different things in your site) and write good content about those products.  You can get traffic by article marketing and blogging (free).  When you start to generate an income, you can invest in Pay Per Click advertising like on Yahoo or Google.  Lots to know, but it is worthwhile.
