if you lost a ski, but don't stick it to someone else. It's worth what it's worth, despite how you feel or what you've got into it. I had the same issue when my pwc trailer got bent in half at a stop light last year. The trick is to find recent sales at your target price, not just skis for sale. Remember, asking and getting are two different things.

Sorry, that's WAY out of line for a 14 year old ski, regardless of the condition.  A court would be ignorant to award that.
