Adam Forsyth wins points decision over Oscar Siale – Boxing news
Australian national Cruiserweight Adam Forsyth remained undefeated fighting against Oscar Siale at the WA Basketball Centre in Perth, Australia.
The undefeated, Adam Forsyth won a unanimous points decision over the 39-year-old, Siale in their 8-round competitive bout. The fight was organised under the main event of Wild West Boxing Series.
Mark Simpson was performing his duties as the referee. All the three judges gave the scorecards as 77-75, 78-77, 78-76 in favour of the 30-year-old Forsyth.
Forsyth won the eleventh consecutive bout since he turned professional in 2008. Forsyth made his debut winning against Luke Paterno in 2008 at the WA Italian Club in Perth, Australia. He fought most of his fights in Australia against the best possible opponents
in his professional career and has never been defeated by anyone yet.
However, the boxing fans are not looking so glad with Forsyth’s current victory. Interestingly, the victorious Forsyth fought 10 of his total fights of which he won 8 bouts by scoring knockouts and only one points’ decision against Anthony McCracken two
years back in 2009 at the Brisbane Convention Centre in Queensland, Australia.
Forsyth has learnt a lot under from former Triple World Champion Jeff Fenech. It seemed in his last fight that Forsyth needs to increase his stamina, if he really wants to progress in the boxing world.
Forsyth took a dominating start to that bout and maintained a considerable level of pressure on Siale until the end of fifth round.
In the sixth round, Forsyth looked tired as he was not putting his level best. Siale scored the last 3 rounds taking advantage of Forsyth’s situation.
However, Forsyth knew that he did enough damage to take that bout to win the unanimous points decision. As the final bell rang, the referee ruled the fight in favour of Forsyth after seeing the judges’ scorecards.
