Former Australian wicket-keeper, Adam Gilchrist, has advised http://www.senore.com/Cricket/England-c56013 team to play with the mindset of the second best side in the world, as it will push them on to higher levels.
He lauded Englishmen for playing superb cricket over the last couple of years but at the same time, asked them to keep on working hard in order to retain their position at the top of the chart.
Gilchrist described that playing like a 2nd ranked team will only prevent England from becoming complacent.
"You've got to keep working and play, train and prepare as if you are No.2. That is the attitude we had, every time you practiced or played we tried to improve in some capacity. If you're No.1 in the world and want to keep that gap above No.2 then you have
to do things with the mindset of No.2 which will push you on to better levels," said Gilchrist who is widely regarded as the best wicket-keeper batsman in the history of the game.

“England have come close to being No.1 in the past, but this time, they have managed to push through with it and, I think, a lot of that is how extremely well led they have been," added the great Aussie wicket-keeper.
