http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Adam-Johnson-c3537 joins in the pleas to keep Carlos Tevez at Manchester City – Premier League Update
Manchester City winger and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Carlos-c8346 Tevez will end up staying at the Eastlands.
The player made these comments in the wake of Tevez admitting that his time at City was now up and that it was time for him to move on.
However, Johnson seems to have joined in the list of people wanting the Argentine to stay at the club. In doing so, he has now joined the likes of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mancini-c23323, who are all hoping the striker will change his mind.
Johnson also went on to comment and state that, considering City were now set to play in the Champions League, should they lose Tevez, it would come as a major blow to them.
When talking about the future and how Tevez is a crucial part of it for the Citizens, Johnson is reported to have said: "He carries us sometimes with his goals and his drive. He is probably the best player I have played with.”

"Some of the goals and some of the stuff he does in training is just unbelievable. I hope we keep hold of him, just like all the City fans do, because Carlos will be a major part next season when we are playing in the Champions League."
Johnson then went on to state, that despite the striker being one of the best in the business, he was also one of the most humble players around. Johnson stated that the player preferred to keep to himself and did as he was told in training, while helping
others out, when he could.
Johnson then went on to mention, how it would be close to impossible for City to replace Tevez, as he went on to state: "He would be very hard to replace. There's probably only five or six strikers out there who get you that many goals a season at the highest
level. We have one of them, so it would be great if we could keep him."
It is hard not to agree with what Johnson has stated. Tevez, if anything, is quite easily the best player that City have. When the club captain takes to the pitch, he gives his all and this usually ends up benefiting the team quite a bit.
His brilliant displays helped him win the Premier League’s Golden Boot, which he shared with Manchester United’s http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Dimitar-Berbatov-c11254. However, the fact that he was nowhere in contention to land the award just a couple of months ago, goes to show what he is
capable of.
City are now going to have a giant task ahead of them, if they plan on keeping a hold of their captain, once the transfer window opens in the summers.
