After joining the Merseyside club in July last year, Adam has struggled to cement his place in the starting team. His cause was not helped by a couple of injuries, which prevented him from claiming a first-choice status.
Consequently, the former Blackpool player was linked to reports of his possible departure from Anfield this summer.
Nevertheless, Adam played down the reports as mere speculations, indicating that he planned on serving out his contract with the Reds, and was looking forward towards playing his role in the new set up under Brendan Rodgers.
“I still have three years left on my contract, I am happy here and I am looking forward to the rest of the season,” he added.
“This is a great club to be part of and a new era started under a new manager and I want to be part of it.”
