Adam goodes?! racism?!?

omg i hate when sportspeople do this. they say something bad happened to them or something bad about another person then dont name them, thus blighting all the respective sportspeople. akermanis did it last year (subsequently found to be M.Braun from wce), and elka graham, the swimmer, did it last year too.

please sportsmen/women, if you say something bad about another sportsperson, name them otherwise it puts a blight on every sportsperson's reputation.

main problem with that is speak, and you get sued.

I wouldn't mind betting that the splendid Mr Goodes has suffered a lot of racism in his career - he may have trouble getting enough air time to list his critics!

I would have said that both Adam Goodes and Michael o"Loughlin are fantastic role models.

However, I am sure that they both have suffered racism at some stage. They both started playing first grade at 18, which is very young and probably just put up with it. If they had said something when they were nobodys, noone would have cared. Now that they have respect Adam may feel it is the right time.

I don't like it when footballers or any other people say they have been racially abused years after it has happened,  they should have the gumption to say it   when it does occur.

If a high profile person pulls the race card, it certainly lacks credability if they haven't got the intestinal fortitude to name the offender.

Whats wrong with the weak so-and-so's, are they lying ?, or frightened to expose the person because they don't want the hassles of libel/defamation, or any other vilification term that is used.

After all, the victim can always use derogatory terms as well, if they want to get the perpetrator off their back. It's all about standing up for yourself, or these problems will persist on a regular basis.

OMG listen to them whinging now, there is nothing wrong with a little sledging, i dont doubt goodesy or some other indigenous players have called the "white aussies" skips or white c*#@s or watever, i know i deffinately copped it and gave it when i played, at school even in the street.... who cares, accept who you are, grow some balls, build a bridge n get over it, real men couldnt give a s@#t wat others say about them...
