Adapting in http://www.senore.com/Cricket/DA-Warner-c1301 – Cricket News Update
David Warner, the belligerent Australian opening batsman, believes that the Indians may find it difficult to acclimatise to Aussie conditions, when they take on the home side in the four-match Test series, starting on Boxing Day at the Melbourne Cricket
Ground.
Team India has a formidable record at home but when it comes to playing in foreign conditions, it has always been tough for the Men in Blue to produce excellent results. Warner admitted that India is a strong side, and it will be a hard task for the Aussies
to beat such a powerful team.
He said the local conditions will be a massive advantage for the home side, as the Indians are not very good at performing on bouncy tracks – entirely different conditions than those in the Sub Continent.
“You look at their line-up and you can think 'oh how are we going to get these guys out'. But we know when they're in Australia, the wickets are different, and we think their mental approach is a bit different to what it is when they're in http://www.senore.com/Cricket/India-c750,” Warner
told ESPNcricinfo.
Despite citing Australian wickets as a possible disadvantage for the tourists, Warner has called the Indian batting line-up as one of the best in the business. He elucidated that the Aussie quicks will have to be disciplined with their line and length against
the greats like, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/VVS-Laxman-c2772. Meanwhile, he urged his co-batsmen to post big totals on the board to exert pressure on Team Blue.
"We know a couple of their players don't like being out in the field for too long and their fast bowlers are under injury clouds as well. So the more overs we can get out of them, the better for us going into the second innings and also the upcoming Tests,"
added the 25-year-old http://www.senore.com/Cricket/New-Zealand-c754.
Warner is in terrific touch at the moment following his great display with the bat against the Black Caps, as he made an impressive century in the Hobart Test against the Kiwis on debut, and would be the key man at the top of the order.
