Add Members - 'Invite' Box Problems?

Dear All

I'm trying to 'add members' to my site as a moderator but recently the 'invite' box (Underneath the name/address box) does not appear.

This is something we use for a 'disclaimer' so is important to the group - Does anybody know why this is & how to fix it?

i'm not sure exactly what's changed, but yahoo have recently modified the add and invite options for groups (apparently plenty of spammers were abusing the invite, and following complaints they've changed the options available)

save this link to your favorites- Team Blog has this answer. they took away those text boxes for both invites and add members features. there is no fixing this- Yahoo did this in response the the abuse of these features by group owners
