Okay. I'm a member of three groups. Two of them have modules on My Yahoo page. The third one doesn't (joined 2 days ago). How can I add this third group as a module? I've tried searching for the group name in the 'personalize' section, but I can't find ANY of my three groups this way. I don't want to make a bookmark or use the quick links on the left side... I want a 'module' for the group to appear on My Yahoo page. Can anyone help me!?

  1. The Beta test groups have modules, however those test groups are about to be converted back to current groups. Yahoo trashed the Beta groups and will one day insert some of those features to Yahoo's current group.

if you're talking about RSS feeds- you can feed one group to another or at least your not suppose to due to TOS- the group would have to be public to do this

  2. Only Yahoo Groups that have the archive access setting on Anyone (no membership required) have the option to add a module to one's My Yahoo page.  To check whether or not your third Group has this option, log in to that Group's web site.  Then click on Messages on the left-hand side of the page.  If you see an orange RSS box down in the lower-right-hand corner of the resulting page, with a blue and while + My Y box just to the left of it, then this Group has this option.  If so, click on the + My Y box, then follow the directions on the next page, to add a module for this Group to your My Yahoo page.  If you don't see these boxes, then you can't add a module for this Group to your My Yahoo page, and you're just going to have to find some other way to access this Group from your My Yahoo page.
