Add color to your hair?

ok school just starting and i want to add the color white to my hair like stripes of it . since i wear alot of black and white! i have straight medium length black hair. any1 know how i can do this?

go to a salon and have them put highlights in your hair

yes you can go to a stylist at a hair salon or you can look one up on the internet about the certain style you want, if your going for a scene or emo look (which i have) look some up on youtube and you will see alot of what your looking for probably :)

they'll have to bleach your hair ALOT

to the point where its damaged.

go to any pharmacy or beauty store they have color packages u can just follow the directions on the back

First off, always go to a salon! Second, whether your hair is naturally or dyed black, the most you can lift it is about 7 levels, and that with the strongest of bleach. In other words, your hair is either a level 1 or 2, so the  lightest it can get is probably a dark to medium blonde. The stylist can then tone them to be an icy color, but you will not get white blonde.
