Add ipod songs to computer?

My Brother has an ipod video with a lot of songs on it and i just got one, i was wondering how to transfer all his songs from his ipod to mine. I just downloaded idump, so should i go hook my ipod to his comp and will it add all his songs to my ipod and then use idump or should i take his ipod and plug it into my computer and use idump?

plug his ipod into your computer, and idump will but all of his songs to your itunes library, then you can sync the songs to your ipod
