I was diagnosed with add inattentive this year and offered a prescription for starterra but I dont really like the sound of it. I think adderall sounds better suited for me but can you get it in the UK? The doctor said he hadnt heard of it which confused me as I've read quite a bit about it being used for add.

  3. There are many medication options to treat Attention Deficit.  You should see a psychopharmachologist- this person would be more knowlegeable about the different medications than a primary care physician or pediatrician.  Some people find a benefit from Concerta.  But like I said, there are lots of different options now.  Just be patient- often it takes a little bit of trial and error to find the right type and dose for you.  If you start any medication for ADD, you should make sure your doctor is willing to sit and talk with you and frequently monitor how it is working for you.
