Adderall Dosage Question?

Question

I take 20mg of adderall 3 times daily. Would it hurt me to take all 60mg in the morning so I wouldn't have to worry about taking it the rest of day, because I will be on the boat all day today and it would just make it easier. Also when I take 20mg it usually last about 4 hours, so if I take all 60mg in the morning it should last me roughly about 12 hours correct.

Nooooooo!  These pills don't work like that!  Talk to your doctor about Adderall XR before you potentially do something harmful  About 20 minutes after you take the pill these four different methamphatamine salts start to enter your system at different times and have a half life that lets your body dispose of them within hours...which is when you take your second pill.  You will be overdosing if you take 3 pills.
