Adderall/moodswings?

Is anyone here on Adderall?

If so, when it's wearing off, how long do you feel moody for?

When I withdrew from the Ritalin each evening, I got what felt like "extra ADHD -- no focus whatsoever" for about 20 minutes.  Adderall doesn't have that effect.  I just notice its gone.  Adderall does make me a bit down and grumpy but I fixed that now.

I've been taking adderal since I was 15, and I've never experienced mood swings, even when it was wearing off.

When I got to be about 22, I noticed mood swings, but I found out later that I was bipolar as well as ADD, so that's what caused mine.

But currently, even though I'm being treated for both, when it starts to wear off I feel exhausted. And that can make anyone cranky. Hope this helped.

I feel moody for a few hours afterwards and then I'm alright. It lasts about 2 hours and then I am back to the way I was before I took the medicine. It also worsens my ADD symptoms for a while in the evening though. So that probably plays a part into feeling irritable.
