Adderall vs caffeine?

I have a lot of trouble sitting down and writing when I have the time to and am thinking about going on adderall to help with this. Does anyone have any experience with it and caffeine and what are the benefits/detriments to producing fiction when on adderall vs caffeine

You might get more answers if  you posted this question in one of the Health categories.  I do know that Adderall was taken off the market in Canada years ago because of dangerous side effects.
