Addikt returns to Kempton with the hope of bagging a victory in the Win Big With Betdaq Multiples Apprentice Handicap
Win Big With Betdaq Multiples Apprentice Handicap will take place at Kempton on 11th April, 2012. The twelve runners are creating a sense of enthusiasm among the bookmakers, trainers and jockeys alike, as they will take on the
1 mile and 2 furlongs track for £1,617.
Karate, trained by Hans Adielsson, for owner, Erik Penser, has shown improvement this season, especially in his last two races.
The son of Exceed And Excel, out of La Belle Katherine, finished ninth in the 32RedPoker.com Handicap at Kempton on 29th March, 2012, mounted by Nicole Nordblad.
The four-year-old gelding showed remarkable improvement in his most recent start as he claimed a placed finish. Ridden by the same jockey, he stood third in the 32RedPoker.com Handicap at Wolverhampton on 4th April, 2012.
He finished 1 ½ length after race favourite, Douze Points, whereas the victory was taken by, Just Five.
Despite the fact that Addikt has failed to claim a placed finish in his last five races, he may be able to break out of his shell in this race. The son of Diktat, out of mare Frond, is comfortable covering this distance and his performances last year
at Kempton were impressive.
He raced as a favourite in the Free Entry For Betdaq Members Handicap (Div II) at Kempton on 23rd March, 2011, with odds of 7 to 2. He delighted his trainer Michael Scudamore with his victory as he triumphed over, Duneen Dream,
by 1 ½ length.
His victory continued into the Calverts Carpets York Ltd Handicap on the same track on 2nd May, 2011, where he defeated, Mountrath, by ½ a length.
The seven-year-old horse will be keenly watched by his connections today, with the hope that Kempton will prove lucky for him today. He will be ridden by jockey, William Twiston-Davies and will break out from post 3.
If Addikt repeats his stellar performances from last year, then there is no stopping him. He will set fire to the track with his swift pace and leave the rest of the competition far behind.
Despite his previous victories at Kempton, it cannot be said for certain that he will win today as he is up against some tough competitors, who will not admit defeat easily.  Karate is one of them, who will be looking to bring his best form forth and
challenge Addikt.
