Adding Aux to Sebring 2004 car stereo?

I have a 2004 Sebring sedan. Im trying to add an Aux jack, but i cant find the right points to solder the cable. I tryed adding a switch by volume nob, and added an input there, but it didnt work, it just cut the volume control. Does anyone know where i can find a detailed drawing of that Stereo, or instructions on how to do it?

It sounds like your doing more work than you have to. There are plenty of aftermarket stereos, in any price range, that have that feature, Most will perform better than stock as well.
