Adding a middle name to my college application?

Well, I am going to college out of state very soon and I want to know if I can tell the admissions department to call me by my first and my middle name. Is that alright? Will they accept that? I just want to start fresh because going to college is such a new experience (and I'll be so glad to be in a new place!) I also want to be called Jennifer instead of Jenny...I am called Jennifer on everything else (my high school information, on mail etc.)..but on my birth certificate it says "Jenny"....so I want to use Jennifer and then my middle name and my last name...will they do that? Thanks =)

well for $100 you can legally change your name but at the moment you should tell the administrators the name on your birth certificate and tell anyone else the name you want!
