Adding a second 1GB pc3200 DDR ram!

Question

My mobo is running on 1GB pc3200 RAM very smoothly. But if I add a second DDR memory module of the same type, my pc does not want to start. It shows only error message saying "system file missing" and keeps restarting! What's the problem exactly? Any solutions?
