Adding music to a Micro SD...

Question

It is possible to add music directly to a Micro SD right? What I'm saying is I don't have to put the thing in my Sansa e260 and then sync it, or do I?

well for my phone, the micro sd needed to be inserted to the phone and i plug the usb cable from my phone to the pc. then i got this program to put in music on my phone.

if you have a card reader then i think you can just connect that with the Micro SD card in it and drag the music files into the appropriate folder on the card, at least thats what i do with my phone's micro sd card for music
